ahead of a Beijing motor show reveal at the end of April 2016. |

Citroën has based the new C6 on the Dongfeng A9
saloon,
which uses PSA’s modular EMP2
platform which is also shared with the
Peugeot 308, 408 (sold in developing Asian and South American markets)
and the Citroën C4 Picasso. |

It is reported that the C6 will be supplied with a range of
1.8-litre and 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engines. |

Targeting the upper business D segment, this 4.96m long premium saloon is set to arrive on the market at the end of the year. Designed by the Styling Centre in Paris in close cooperation with the Shanghai office, Citroën C6 will be built in Wuhan. It features flowing, modern line, along with exceptional interior qualities placing particular emphasis on the cabin (space, ambience, materials), seats and technologies) in order to set the highest standards in comfort for all the passengers. |
