from the Ford Fiesta and was renamed Pony Super and later Pony New
Generation.

- in an attempt to reprise the ethos of the FAF, NAMCO offered
developing nations the opportunity to manufacture the Fiesta-powered
Pony New Generation. Sri Lanka, Iraq, Egypt and Morocco all
expressed interest but the project died.
