Protection against theft and break-in

The New Berlingo is also well protected against theft, with deadlocks available in some countries. This makes it impossible to open a door from the inside after a window has been broken, for example a perimetric and volumetric ultrasonic alarm is available as an option or accessory depending on the country. This alarm is designed to detect movement inside the cabin or when a window, door or tailgate is opened. The volumetric alarm can be disabled from a switch positioned bottom left of the steering wheel. This can be useful, for example, when leaving an animal in the vehicle, since it maintains the perimetric alarm.
