A functional and comfortable cabin
The
interior of the Berlingo First is similar to
that of a passenger
vehicle, with its hatchback-style driving
position and wide range of
equipment. It features variable power steering
as standard, along with
optional air conditioning, CD audio system and
cruise-control/speed
limiter system to make life easier for users.
The Pack Plus
rounds out the range of equipment available. It
includes central
locking, plip control, power defrosting rearview
mirrors and power
window lifts.
To assist drivers in their professional
activities, Berlingo First is available with a multifunction
passenger seat. This
seat provides 100 litres of stowage capacity
under the cushion – hidden
from prying eyes – and it can also be turned
into a desktop by folding
the backrest.
Reinforced safety
The Berlingo First can be fitted with driver
and passenger airbags as well as ABS with
electronic brakeforce distribution. To carry
loads safely, the load area is fitted with six
lashing hooks. It also features a number
of bulkheads, including a mid-height bulkhead
with meshing.
To protect loads from theft, the Berlingo First
includes a feature that locks doors
automatically when central locking is
fitted (Pack Plus).
To cope with a full range of – sometimes
extreme – uses, the Berlingo First can be fitted
with offroad suspension, raised by 15
mm, and a skid plate. In France, the Berlingo
First features this suspension as standard.
