Surprising and useful features
Extenso: the folding passenger seat that folds away
The
passenger seat in Nemo, which takes the name of
Extenso, is available
with two functions for an even wider range of
functions. The seatback
can be folded horizontally onto the seat cushion, or
the entire seat
can be stored under the floor, thus adding almost one
metre to the load
length. The available length is thus increased to
almost 2.50 metres
while the load volume is boosted by 0.3 m3 with a
total useful volume
of close to 2.8 m3.

A modular protective grid between the cab and the
loading bay
The
protective grid between the cab and the loading bay is
modular, and
designed to protect the cab across its entire width.
If the vehicle is
carrying long loads, the section behind the folded
Extenso passenger
seat pivots towards the driver to provide maximum
protection. This has
a twofold advantage. The length and load volume are
optimised without
any disassembly, and the driver is protected from
loads carried on
board. Nemo is also available with a conventional
separation between
the cab and loading area: panel or window partition,
or a fixed grid.

Rear asymmetrical swing doors
Vans
make frequent stops, so practical and easy access to
the loading area
is a must. For this reason, Nemo is fitted as standard
with rear
asymmetrical swing doors. The narrowest door is on the
right. This
makes it easier to access the back of the van when
space is limited.
The doors can also be easily opened to 180 degrees.
In countries
where this is allowed by the highway code, the
right-hand door -
located on the same side as the foldaway seat - can be
left open to
carry very long loads. The registration plate and the
third stop light
- positioned on the left-hand swing door - can still
be seen.

Tall, wide sliding side doors
Nemo
is available with one or two sliding side doors to
load bulky parcels.
The useful height is 1,041 mm for a width of between
410 and 644 mm.

A complete range to meet varying requirements
Citroën
is positioning Nemo, a vehicle of compact dimensions,
as its
entry-level commercial vehicle. This fourth model
completes the
existing line-up of three LCVS: the Berlingo, Jumpy
and Jumper. With a
range designed to meet the varying needs of customers
in these segments
(payload of up to 2 tonnes and load volume of between
2.35m3 and 17
m3), Citroën has the assets to strengthen its position
as a major
player in the market of light commercial vehicles. At
end-August 2007,
Citroën had 10% of the LCV European market (18
countries).
