Launched in March 1978, the Acadiane replaced the 2CV-based
AK400. The load space of the AK400 was wedded to
the front end of a Dyane
with a raised roofline. This resulted in improved
aerodynamics and led
to both an improvement in performance and better fuel
consumption
compared to the AK400.
The Acadiane was powered by the 602cm3 flat twin and
had a top speed of 96 kph.
The vehicle remained in production until July 1987.
