At
this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, Citroën is
presenting Jumpy Océanic,
a winning blend of combi-van and camping car. With
a 3-seater bench
that converts into a bed, together with a sliding,
fold-away table,
this new version of Jumpy is perfect for
free-spirited romps in the
country.
Based on the Jumpy combi-van, Jumpy
Océanic has two pivoting front seats, a fold-away,
sliding central
table and a sliding 3-seater rear bench that
converts into a bed for
two people. As an option, two seats can be installed
in row 2, with the
sliding bench folding out in row 3. And for easier
cleaning after a
weekend in the country, Jumpy Océanic is equipped
with plastic floor
mats in rows 2 and 3.
Rounding out its leisure
capacities, Jumpy Océanic ships with an optional
camping socket
situated in the rear bumper and, for a good night’s
sleep, a “Good
Night” pack including a set of insulated curtains
that fully block out
light and an air vent fixed on the sliding window in
row 2.
Further
accessories include an ice box, attached to one of
the seats in row 2,
and an onboard comfort unit featuring a hot plate
and a sink for total
independence.
Jumpy Océanic will be launched in Europe from
January 2008 in both short and long versions and with
one or two
sliding side doors. It will be available with one of
two diesel
engines, the 2-litre HDi 120 and 2-litre HDi 140 DPFS,
already
available with the Jumpy.
